Why I Do What I Do

My Photography Story

The passion for photography has been a part of my life since I was young when I ran around with a disposable film camera capturing everything I thought was interesting. I later purchased an older 35mm film camera for a black and white film class in college. The detailed process and the excitement of developing my first photo in the darkroom instantly elevated my passion for photography. After losing my film camera in a flood, I switch to a digital platform which allowed me to take even more photos and catapulted me to where I am today.

My Photography Style

My eye for photography captures, well just about everything; people, architecture, animals, plants, landscape, and whatever grabs my attention! I truly feels that there are many things we see in life that are worthy of being memorialized through photography and I want share that feeling only a photo can bring. My style of photography captures a wide range of subjects and my editing style (no AI) is eclectic, from black and white to bright vivid colors, and from macro with a beautiful bokeh background to a wide angle shot with crisp details throughout.

The Process

I began dedicating more time to photography and upgrading all my equipment to a professional level in 2023. I stive for perfection when it comes to printing my own photos, I print all my photos in house to ensure the quality is worthy of a museum. Even down the small details such as using archival pens to sign the photos, along with acid free materials so it will not compromise the quality of the photo over the years. My goal as a photographer is to help connect the viewer’s emotions to my photos.
